Duff Dress

I hate when I start a sewing project and realize it's not going to work out for me.  Again, my bust is to blame.  I started making this McCall's Dress 5575
but that empire waist lands right smack on my apex line.  sigh....I suppose I could modify the pattern, but the bodice is already cut and sewn.
I plan to make a second one for a friend in a different color.  I'll have her try the finished one on before I start cutting hers out.
Guess this pattern wasn't made for a thirty something year old woman with a 40D ;)

I'll post a picture if it works out for my friend....I really hope it does!  Fingers/toes/eyes crossed!

    Best of luck with your weight loss... I have been on a health/weight loss kick for the last three months.. I let myself go last year and gained some weight... its just now coming off! Its harder in my 30's to be in shape! I thought about posting about what I've done to loose it... maybe I will if I get the time.
    Hope your dress works out!! I am a 34DDD or F.. and the cup size option patterns have really made a difference for me.. much better fit.
